YouTube Warp

YouTube Warp is an engine designed in Flash that establishes relations among videos connecting them and showing them in a simple relational map. Using the same principle we can create a visual navigation inside biology concepts. BioWarp could use GeNS database to establish connections between concepts. The map would then be shown as a component of the interface that would enable linking to pages in the main workspace. It could be a simple idea to replace (as a “lab” feature) DiseaseCard’s tree.

DiNS

Now that is established that DiseaseCard will use the GeNS warehouse as the main dataset and considering that GeNS stands for Genomic Name Server, we could use GeNS template to create a human disease-oriented warehouse. The main purpose of Disease Name Server would be the same as GeNS, only the context changes.
