Idlewild + Edenborn

Just finished reading Nick Sagan‘s Edenborn. And already regret the fact the I’ve left Everfree at Aveiro… I would finish the trilogy this weekend for sure!

Following on Idlewild, Edenborn continues the story with growing excitement in a pure classic sci-fi way. Where Idlewild was told from a mixed character-narrative perspective, Edenborn innovates using a “blog-styled” approach for storytelling which results in an eased process of diving in the world after Black Ep and saying more would be spoiling great sci-fi. And the pace of storytelling is great… the slow start, the “boring” middle and the final growing tension for the climax… Aces!

I wonder why no one has adapted this trilogy to the silver screen or even TV! I believe it would work great for the amount of geeks that loved the Matrix… but maybe it is just to similar to the Matrix… and there’s only room for such a tale… Comics maybe?
