The European GEN2PHEN project aims to provide an holistic view over the human variome research.
This area is the key focus of my PhD work (and funding!) and involves the development of next-generation bioinformatics tools that can comply with demands from the personalized medicine domain.
WAVe
WAVe | Web Analysis of the Variome is my latest foray into web information systems for bioinformatics. It was launched as a prototype experiment for the GEN2PHEN project but has luckily achieved the required success that will take it to the next level.
I'm the proud "father" of this publicly available agile web application.
